So, the teams that were on every week (UT, OU, NU) would routinely haul in 25-30% more than schools like ISU, BU and OSU. At that time, the payout disparity between the top and ISU worked out to an amount equal to around 8-10% of ISU's annual budget. Even giving out the average to everybody would have been a 3% boost to the ISU budget.
