Things went a little off the rails last night with ASU. If the Standford/Cal hill is the hill their going to die on, let them.

It’s always been AZ and CU that actively want this. AZ was looking even before USC/UCLA and the tv nightmare because they wanted a better basketball conference. It’s what their boosters and fans care about.

i don't have any idea how a bor works but its crazy to me that if AZ wants to leave the bor can say no you must take way less money for your university because thats what ASU wants.

I hope so, and hopefully this BOR is just a smokescreen like it has been with OU leaving OKST, UCLA leaving Cal, etc.
If you end up with a situation like UCLA having to make payments to Cal, Arizona leaving the Pac makes absolutely no sense for them.

There is probably $80 million more dollars and full television exposure over the course of the media deal on the table for Arizona. Plus, they'd be sticking their neck out for UO and UW who have been explicit as **** in indicating their intent to leave when they can.

If Arizona doesn't take the life line they are ******* themselves over in ways that would be hard to see all the consequences. LMAO.
