so now were going to praise them for getting 24MM a year

On the high end. With a near total loss of visibility and national exposure for their programs for whatever the term may be. That's as a big of reason to doubt this as the money. They'll be worth less when the contract expires.

I'm with this guy. ASU president dragging his feet. Utah fans seem less than excited to get a seat on the lifeboat.

So we should move on.

I think there is probably some value with Utah, but they aren't worth the headache. Sometime later they can be added.

Arizona is being held captive by the Arizona Board of Regents who do not want the two schools split and the Arizona State President who is working to keep the Pac together. Arizona very well might not have a choice.

Thats a lot of collusion required, but it is certainly possible. As long as B1G and SEC dont fight over a team (with TV guys arbitrating thats doable).
And its possible the left behinds sue, but thats just money.

The politics involved, especially for teams left out in that case, would keep that from happening.

Like Congressional hearing type stuff.

I can totally understand taking slightly less money to not send your teams 3 time zones away consistently.

Also not terribly fan friendly to have road games start as early as 4:00 local time during the week when basketball rolls around.

There's actually some sanity here...

Arizona could still come and the PAC still signs a GOR.

Agree to this. If the PAC stays alive and signs a deal, I absolutely believe ASU will be apart of it. The question is whether UA has an option to go or not. But this may be why the Bg12 only voted on UA yesterday.

It just goes to show that nobody reporting things knows jack ****. These things don't change 180 degrees multiple times an hour. There might be sways in momentum here or there, but not to the degree these reporters trying to save face make it sound like.
