We’re really going to get stuck with UConn

Although as a college football fan this is probably better for the sport as a whole. Still, if the Big 12 is going to add someone I would much prefer another PAC 12 school

Agree to this. If the PAC stays alive and signs a deal, I absolutely believe ASU will be apart of it. The question is whether UA has an option to go or not. But this may be why the Bg12 only voted on UA yesterday.

Yeah I’m fine with 14. I assume Zona is still gone but let the dust settle. We just added 6 teams with Houston and Zona being very good basketball school at the current moment. Who knows in 3 years the ACC might bleed members. I wasn’t excited by ASU and Utah as time went on.

I get not letting the leave if it left ASU in a bad spot like the MWC. But the PAC surviving should ease those concerns. So why hold UA back?

Arizona’s basketball program is about to take a leap off the cliff. There are no other decent programs left in that league. They’re going to have to front load that schedule Gonzaga style to have any respect without USC/UCLA.

Scheer might be getting receipts sent right back his way after his gloating the last week here. At the same time, he's not been wrong as it sounds like Arizona wants out but the BOR won't let them due to ASU. I'm sure that won't be a point of contention over the life of the Apple deal if they all do remain in the PAC.
