Again - look to expand and poach teams from the Big 12 are two completely different things. It's wishful thinking on the PACs part and the dimwit media. If Oregon and UW somehow commit to staying long term, and they give somebody like Okie State a great deal, then maybe. But I'm not sure how Oregon and UW could/would do anything meaningful that wouldn't make a prospective member nervous. There is speculation by more than just a few hawk fans that the PAC is going to poach
Here's what people need to understand. Larry Scott might have been a bad commish and made some bad decisions, but this idea that Kliavkoff just needs to "negotiate" a better media deal is not very realistic. The reality is he has an undesirable product which was PAC football even with USC. Now he's lost the one potential giant, national brand that if good actually draws viewers. Oregon is a national brand that is a very good, but not great TV draw. PAC sports are crap TV products. People don't care, and people don't watch.
We plains yokels love CFB and watch not only our teams, but our conference mates' games.
