Sure, and they could very well win the financial assets the pac12 has. That doesn’t really change anything for those two schools, just buys them essentially an extra year of financial stability.
What are the PAC assets worth?

They've got a ton of NCAA Tournament money coming over the next 6 years. Something like $18M.What are the PAC assets worth?
The article talked about part of the Pac12 network, naming rights, current assets held by the conference, saw 47mil as the number in the article but don’t know if that’s the entirety. Certainly they would get more from bowl and NCAA tournamentWhat are the PAC assets worth?

This isn't the only lawsuit to be filed by ORSt and Wazzu. They will also file one against ORWA, Fox and the B10 for those four parties pulling the plug at the last minute on the PAC when the 9 remaining PAC schools were ready to sign the Apple deal on the morning of August 4th. That one will get likely get settled with ORSt and Wazzu getting a cut of ORWA's B10 TV checks in similar fashion to Cal getting a cut of UCLA's.Sure, and they could very well win the financial assets the pac12 has. At least initially they should get a favorable judge. They filed suit in the county where WSU is located.

The actions of ORWA, B10 and Fox will financially devastate ORSt and Wazzu and that impact will extend beyond athletics. This is an obvious basis for a lawsuit and damages paid. Same deal with Cal and UCLA although no legal filing was required there.I don’t see that going anywhere. There is no standing. Just because everyone agrees that they were going to sign and then change at the last minute means nothing. Nothing is done until you sign on the dotted line.
Additionally, their GOR is ending at the end of this athletic year, so everyone was free to do what they wish after this year, which is what is happening. They’ve all fulfilled their obligations to the GOR.
No it’s not, also you have no idea that they are going to file an additional lawsuit, you’re legit basing this on your own opinion, nothing to do with a legal argument. The actions of ORWA, B10 and Fox will financially devastate ORSt and Wazzu and that impact will extend beyond athletics. Yeah guy has zero idea what he’s talking aboutSo, the Oregon Regents are going to authorize Oregon State to sue...Oregon?
LOL
The bolded is the big one imo (I'm not a lawyer). I had a discussion with a Big 10 guy the other day, of course he was going on about "How can you justify destroying the PAC after what Texas and OU did to the Big 12?" My response was simple, the Big 12 still had multiple years on their GOR, OuT's and ESPN's goal was to dissolve the Big 12 and immediately and get out with no repercussions.I don’t see that going anywhere. There is no standing. Just because everyone agrees that they were going to sign and then change at the last minute means nothing. Nothing is done until you sign on the dotted line.

Yeah, that's not going to happen. An agreement in principle isn't a signed deal. Deals fall apart at the last minute all the time for a wide range of reasons. Just to clarify, WSU/OSU aren’t suing the conference or anyone with this legal action. I don’t know why it’s being portrayed that way, or why Canzano said they were (other than he’s an idiot)Yeah, that's not going to happen. An agreement in principle isn't a signed deal. As far as everything else, there's no legal basis for OR St or WA St to sue. All the other schools were free agents after the end of their current deal, and nobody's leaving before that's up. The networks don't have any obligation to offer a deal. The B10, B12 and ACC were all talking to schools for after their current deal was up. WA St and OR St could potentially get their BORs to make WA and OR give them cuts of the B10 money, but that's an internal decision.
As suggested earlier, this probably won't get to lawsuit stage but the OR Regents will have a vested interest to keep the OSU AD financially viable without increasing student activity fees or other fees. There is likelihood that the OR Regents will authorize a cut of U-Dub's B10 checks be diverted to OSU like the State of CA did with UCLA and Cal.So, the Oregon Regents are going to authorize Oregon State to sue...Oregon?

Compared to the level they've been relegated to it's a good chunk. Is that a ton? That doesn’t seem like a ton in my the current world of college sports.
Oregon isn’t getting a full share though…also the Cal thing is kinda not happening anymoreAs suggested earlier, this probably won't get to lawsuit stage but the OR Regents will have a vested interest to keep the OSU AD financially viable without increasing student activity fees or other fees.
