How in the world have I missed hearing about DRL on ESPN2?
Drone Racing League. Tonight’s championship is in Saudi Arabia. Jet (red) and Wild Willy (pink) are two of the top five competing. Really.

Just this strange phenomena where people talk our next opponent up like they’re the 1986 Chicago Bears. They talk Kansas up like they’re this greatly improving team (they’re not) and now they’re talking Baylor up like they’re this really good team we should be afraid of (they’re not.)

Well, I feel better now. If they thought they were the 85 bears then we are totally screwed. 86 Bears??? Weren't as tough.

I just think it comes down to people not being as knowledgeable about other teams as they think they are. I think you can also see that in the “Beaty fired” thread where they talk about Kansas pulling the trigger way too quick, and pretty much any big 10 thread. Is the media a little too high on the big 10 and too down on the big 12? Yeah, definitely, especially in big 10 areas, but posters here make it sound like the big 10 (especially the west) is trash, and we would never fail to go to a bowl game if we were in the West.

Eh, I don’t know. I’m sure some of it is, and maybe part of the problem is it’s difficult to tell tone in writing, but I think a good amount of it is serious.

It might have also changed, because i’ve pretty much stopped going into those threads since they’re just shitting on the big 10.

Yeah, dude has won 6 games in 4 years. Can you imagine our fan base not rioting in that situation?

Also, the Big Ten is overrated. It’s not the MAC thanks to the Big Ten East, but the Big Ten West is absolute trash.

Good weekend in KC. Ended up going to the game as MrsWx invited an old friend and her kids to go to the zoo with them so I decided to let them all go and have fun. This meant driving my MILs vehicle and I was quickly reminded that they generally don't buy good vehicles to begin with and then they don't maintain them. So I learned what it was like to drive something with shocks and struts in dire need of replacement.

The game was fun...sadly missed the last ISU touchdown as I was still in the concession line. I know they aren't used to people being there but come on. I spent 30 some minutes in line and ended up just getting nachos as they were out of burgers.

Kids didn't nap well so we didn't even make it to the dance portion of the wedding reception before leaving. I do have a nice little streak going now of booking brand new hotels.

Must be a big training time at Camp Dodge as we saw a ton of military convoys on 80. Also saw one of @BCClone ambulance crews doing an emergency patient transfer down to UIHC.

Dont mean to turn this political or take it down a weird path, but due to several stories, I need to say this.

Why are stupid white trash people having all these kids and such ****** parents? Been seeing a lot of stories about neglect and harm. Maggot infested diapers, leaving babies at home alone to go to the bar, murder because the kid is crying. Just pisses me off and makes me sick. Kinda wish we could prevent these people from having kids.
