Frankly I don't even know if I am allowed to buy stock after working with my customers for a certain period of time. I do remember reading something about that in our ethics training.

Lol, no shade. Just find it interesting. I'd like to transition in three years (after DD graduates from HS) from working for a partner to doing something like being a PFE. If you don't mind, I might ask your advice on how best to prepare myself for that over the next couple of years so I can actually get hired?

I’d imagine that would be an awfully gray area into opening yourself/them up to insider trading, wouldn’t it?

I don't mind helping at all. A good chunk of my work when I am in-between projects is doing PFE work plus they've merged the consultants and PFE's into the same teams so we're better aligned. It already helps you're with a partner so it probably isn't as hard as you think.

Maybe I can refer you and I get that sweet sweet referral money

Yea so I just try to avoid it altogether. I have my ETFs and Mutual Funds and they are doing just fine for me.
