Between laptop and two monitors, phone and headset and now another headset to plug into the laptop I have so many damn cords and cables all over the place. It's just a mess

So...many...double entendresI got new rubber on the wife's ride but I have been holding out as long as possible on mine even though it needs it. I hate putting new tires on in the spring. It seems like I am wasting the best rubber on the easiest driving weather. I want fresh rubber to attack that snow - so I can try to dodge the fools who are driving on bald tires as well.
In the last few days, Wyndham, Hyatt, Marriott and Hilton have all left me a message that I've been selected for an all-expenses paid vacation.I should see if I can dig up my bib overall uniform concept from a past thread.
I had an interesting robo call message left. My Microsoft Windows has expired and I have to call immediately to get it reinstated. I wonder what that's gonna cost me.![]()
Lady Gaga won me over with her surprising Super Bowl and Grammies/Metallica performances.Just saw A Star is Born. Good movie.
I think she's talented and all (favorite stuff I've seen is her jazz standards) but I just can't get into Lady Gaga.
Even saw her documentary and didn't come away with any kind of new appreciation or anything, which I usually can with those types--the one about Amy Winehouse left me sad and infuriated that it all fell apart.
She just sent me a selfie at Angel's LandingProbably my favorite National Park I've been to. Did he do Angel's Landing too?

Construction has begun on the new $12 million Catholic church here. That means two of the most historic buildings in town - Corpus Christi and Sacred Heart churches - will be either abandoned, re-purposed, or (gulp!) destroyed.
The former director of our Sanctuary Choir at St. Olaf Lutheran here is a good friend of mine, and also the organist and music director for the Catholic churches. He told me that there are many long-time Catholics, most of whom are primarily responsible for the financial support of the Catholic church, that are very angry with this decision. He further stated that in his opinion it could hurt the church a great deal in the future money-wise.
Unfortunately, this decision was made pragmatically, as lack of clergy and lack of money has forced the church to close all its satellite churches in the rest of Webster County. And this is an issue for almost all organized Christian denominations, ours included.![]()
Remember that next July - AugustI think I made the right decision in moving.
First of all, I don't like to tie my shoes so I prefer loafers. Second, try Kohls for dress shoes.I need new dress shoes. Cheap ones will do since I rarely wear them. It's hard to find cheap dress shoes now. The have loafers, but I'm not a loafer kinda guy, gotta tie my shoes.

I'll change the religious subject here a little bit. I stopped at the liquor store on my way home. Arriving at the checkout counter simultaneously were 3 people from my church. 1. Myself 2. A former Cub Scout leader from my son's old troop 3. Our head pastor.
We were the only 3 customers in the liquor store.
