Gloomy, wet and cold. Well, cool, but seems cold since I am acclimated to 80 to 90.* Unmotivated today. Will be unmotivated tomorrow. Solar index indicates possible motivation come Friday. That's good, don't want to have to hired someone to drive me to Ames.
Wore long pants last night. Might wear long pants again on Saturday. Feels like a weather surrender. No likey.

Am I a jerk for not wearing yellow on Saturday? Not that I don't support her I just don't have any have anything yellow.
I only have something with yellowish long sleeves I can wear under a cardinal polo shirt. I am going to give myself a break because I follow the golf team a little and knew who she was without having to look her up. I didn't know she was still in school, although do remember noting last year that she was in engineering which I thought at the time was cool and interesting for a foreign athlete.
And made myself sad again. This really sucked.
You're going to be the lone red dot in the whole stadium! (Or, just wear gray...that'll work) I wonder if they'll have stickers to hand out or buttons to purchase that'll match the decal on the helmets?
Husband in same boat. He would like to wear yellow in honor of Celia, but the only yellow he has is an Iowa State tshirt, and that wouldn't fly in the press box. Yellow is not a good color for either of us.
Loved the Halsey Hall reference. I listened to him a lot as a kid, broadcasting Twins games.

It isn't for most of us. Fortunately we have a closet half full of ISU short & long-sleeved t-shirts in both cardinal & gold, dating back as far as 20 years. @MeanDean can vouch for this!
I'm hoping it will be cool weather, because most of the yellow (gold) shirts are long-sleeved. The ones that aren't tend to mention other teams, with "Gold Rules" on the front and sayings like "BBQ Texas" or "Beat Kansas" on the back. And a couple of them have been relegated to yard-work shirts due to worn spots and stains.
Mrs. Velo said she didn't have a yellow ISU shirt to wear which surprised me. I told her she could wear one of mine. I found I have 4 t shirts (1 I-State and 3 with the old Cy-roid) and the one yellow dry-weave shirt I wore last weekend. I also have one ISU sweatshirt in yellow, but that thing is thick and heavy - way to heavy for a game in the 60's. In addition I have a yellow State pull over jacket.

Yeah, between that and "gold rules" games...we probably have more than we normally would have owned.
Got one yellow shirt. State track from 2 years ago. That and my packers hat will be broke out.
I have a gold T shirt and gold hoody. I usually save those for Oklahoma games to contrast against their colors
You could also swing over to Goodwill and pick something up cheap if you don't think you will ever wear the yellow shirt again.
You can ride down with us. Problem is we may haed down Friday night and stay most of Sunday for the gf's bday
