I can count at least 30 bites on each ankle. Lately I have been rubbing them down with rubbing alcohol after scratching. Wow that burns.
@BCClone I'm betting you got into the chiggers - I had an episode with them a couple weeks ago. The itching kept me awake at night! Get yourself some Benadryl topical ointment, it worked for me.
Do they look like mosquitoes? Didn't know they made benadryl ointment. I was at a game Monday and a friends wife was saying she had the same issues. We couldn't get anything to stop the itching. Didn't want to drink benadryl since we both get knocked out by it. We wondered if rubbing benadryl on our ankles would work. I tried one, it kinda works but you are a sticky mess with it.

CRIKEY!!It’s about ******* time the Irwin family got their own show in Animal Planet.
I use white vinegar.I can count at least 30 bites on each ankle. Lately I have been rubbing them down with rubbing alcohol after scratching. Wow that burns.
This works pretty good too. It has alcohol and you drink it.Absorbine Jr. (the liquid) works pretty well on itches, but it has alcohol in it so burns, too. It's actually marketed for muscle aches and pains but works well to stop itching. https://www.absorbinejr.com/

I use benadryl gel when I get poison ivy. I put it on, then let it dry. Seems to work pretty good.Do they look like mosquitoes? Didn't know they made benadryl ointment. I got to work on that movie set for a couple of days. To say I worked on the set is probably misleading since I was sent off to some location shots after they were done filming to clean up. I did get to go in the house which was totally stripped down. They had the on site offices in there and a room with some of the catering. The barn was pretty normal inside. If I remember correctly they had the carpentry shop set up in there. I got to see them rigging up the fence that gets pulled out of the ground as the stars run by and them try to get the pump house to fly apart as designed.Twister is on.
Went to the movie site when I was in high school.
If anyone's interested in going, I'd recommend just seeing any old run down farm in Iowa.
So my foot problem is that I stubbed my little toe last night, and now I'm wondering if I broke it. It's still "painful" while resting, and it just seems like it's laying weird against my fourth toe.
Painful = me sitting and concentrating on whether it hurts or not. Dang it...was pondering about getting a pedicure before Sunday, too.
And Lawman will tell you to just drink the scotch.SCyclone will tell you to rub some Benadryl ointment on it.
BC will tell you to go to the ER cause he digs hanging out there.
KC will tell you to have it looked at by a real doctor*.
Boxster says tape it to your #4 toe cause it's broken.
* Note, you can do the doctor thing without losing your man card cause your a gal and don't have to deal with that stupid stuff.
