Tonight is Z's first morning class with dance tonight. I won't see her till almost 7. How tired will she be? I'm expecting decompressing time followed by "I don't want to sleep".
Well, if she's like a puppy, expect her to be pretty tall. Our 7th grade girl now has bigger feet than our senior. She started giving her older sister the shoes that don't fit her anymore.
Go get 'em, Georges!!Been following along every now and then. Miss posting here with you guys and the randomness!Internal job interview tomorrow to move up to senior level. Nerrrrvous!

People are the worst. Especially on Facebook.
I've been trying to privately sell my Chevy Traverse for a few months now that I've bought a different vehicle. I've had it listed on Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, and Cars.com. I've probably had 25 people message me about it, all on Facebook. No other hits besides spam "Is your car still for sale, call me now!" texts from the Craigslist posts. Maybe half of them ever respond after the first "Is this still available?" auto send message that Facebook lets them one tap and send (don't get me started on how dumb this is).
I had a couple people seemingly very interested a month or so ago, but I had to leave town for the weekend and then when I got back they said they were no longer interested or bought a different vehicle. Not much other serious interest until today, a guy told me he wanted to meet me tomorrow at my bank to look at it and then complete the sale there if he wanted to buy it and avoid two trips to the town I live in (Facebook stalking makes me believe he lives about 45 minutes away). Meanwhile, a 2nd person asks if they can meet tomorrow evening to look at the car. Of course I inform them of Guy #1, who is scheduled to meet me tomorrow at 11 am, and told them I'd let them know if it gets sold, otherwise we agreed to meet at the local Hobby Lobby for him to look at it. Guy #1 then asks for my phone number and then asks to call around 6 pm. I told him I had to work a little late tonight and 8 pm would work for me. He saw the message but never responded. 8 pm comes and goes and I sent him another message around 9:30 pm giving him more information about what we'll need to do if he wants to buy it and asking if he still wants to call and if he still wants to meet tomorrow at my bank. No response.
People.
I also love and miss sleep. You're young. No need to rush. Enjoy some adulthood time sans kids. That's what we did and I'm glad.

Pretty crazy that we can't find one decent person to hire, and yet some of our peeps here on RTT are still looking. I understand that in many cases, the types of jobs RTT'ers are looking for will be specialized, and not numerous. But all I hear around town is that "anyone worth hiring is already working".
I don't know if it's kids that are just doing something to waste your time or what. I had some guy text me that he was on his way to pick up a free couch and never showed up and didn't respond to any other text. Fortunately that weekend a woman actually showed up for it.People are the worst. Especially on Facebook.

I haven't been around (here) enough to know. Where are you and what's the job? You never know when someone who knows someone....
