I just put my kids to work but am running low on those. On the other hand, less messy with less people.

Seriously teach your teenagers how to clean, change tire, cook, do laundry, etc. Sad how many college kids are clueless.

My Mom used to pay me to clean stuff - wash the kitchen floor, clean the bathrooms, vacuum, dust, etc. I learned how clean a house (properly) and also had some extra pocket money.

When the vixen fell in January and broke her foot, she also landed hard and awkwardly on her right arm. Her foot is long healed, but she is still suffering pain in her arm.

Her doctor decided back then to put her through physical therapy, rather than have an MRI to decide what was wrong. (The doctor thought is was a soft tissue injury.)

Long story short - after literally thousands of dollars of PT, her arm still hurts - and now the doctor wants to do the MRI. I'm like, WTF? Isn't this backwards? Don't doctors usually attempt to diagnose the injury before prescribing treatment? I have a feeling that if I had made the vixen wear a sling for 3-4 weeks and not done anything with her arm, it would have healed a long time ago.

I mean, one of our daughters is a doctor, but this just totally befuddles me. The vixen claims it's because the insurance company doesn't want to pay for the MRI.....but they have been paying for the PT, and it hasn't been cheap.

@SaraV, I think I now have space between boobs and belly, haha. I noticed yesterday at work and had DH confirm this morning. He concurs that belly def looks lower. I noticed because my shirt was all loose at the top of my belly which it hadn't been previously. And it's harder to cover the bottom now. Like my gym shirts - last few weeks they've been like girl, we can cover all the belly or most of the cleavage, but you can't have both, haha.

So now you need shirts that are X-long?

I'm not buying more clothes at this point. I have maternity gym pants that come up pretty high so everything is covered but the gym shirts stop at an awkward spot the last couple weeks. But it saved me from buying maternity gym shirts so it's still a win! Just have to be careful when I wear them with shorts on the weekend out in the yard. Gotta keep things pulled up/down or I look a little redneck.

Yes! Might get a more pronounced waddle now. The time I was dilated to 5 and didn’t know, had pain down there when walking too. So it’s close to calving time!

Also do you have that kick app? Wish that was around back in the day.

On Thursday of next week my dad and I leave for an annual hiking trip in Colorado. The highlight of this trip is hiking a 14'er and yesterday we found out which mountain we will be climbing: Mt. Belford. Copied and pasted from the email: "A few stattics in Mount Belford - Class 2 trail, Summit is at 14,197 feet. Ranks as #18 on the Colorado 14ers. There is 4,500 feet of elevation gain and she looks to be a straight up trip with a bunch of small switchbacks. Looks like the highlight of the trek is a 2,300 foot elevation gain from 11,600 to 13,900. At 13,900 you get a break before the last 200 feet to the top. Looks like fun!! Get those steps in!!!" One of the hiking websites also says it is 8 miles round trip. This will be my 3rd 14'er but it looks like this one will probably be the hardest one I've done so far. The view at the top always makes it worth it, though.

@Cybirdy I just signed up DD for the Labor Day ISU softball camp! Sunday and Monday 9/2-9/3. Are you guys going?

I am going to have to get two tickets for us to watch the SDSU game now also!

We are still waiting to hear about team placement/fall tourneys. And for the $ not sure if we would do it since she isn’t thinking about college ball/exposure.

State tournament going on now, have a few local teams we are cheering for. Actually a beautiful week for playing, not 110 degrees in the shade for once in the middle of July.

Not sure on the waddle but I do notice more pressure. I have a kick app but haven't used it at all yet. Beanbutt has been active enough so far. Also, I wonder if position inside is correlated to how they prefer to be outside. Because this baby loves shoving their booty up. I picture them always wanting to be hands under head and booty up in the air

Awesome- what teams?

DD decided to take the offer from the Batbusters. This weekend will be her final tournament as a Wasco Diamond. She informed her coach and the organization head (who is also her hitting coach) after practice last night. She isn't normally a crier, but she had tears and was close to bawling. It finally hit her that her time is almost up with these girls that she's grown so close to over the past couple of years.

I'm so proud of that girl. She knew she had to have a face-to-face with them, that it was the right thing to do, that it would be difficult/emotional, and she did it. Didn't ask me to do it for her, didn't delay it... she's so mature already and she's only 15 years old.
