Vegas is about the shows to us. It also helps MrsWxs grandparents live out there most of the year so we have free lodging, transportation and most food.
You should be an Allegiant Air pilot.

6. Cash (for more weed and Jack)
7. Sleeping Bag
8. Boots
Accidentally ???My dad somehow accidentally shaved off his mustache this morning. I have never seen him without one...
Just make sure all you geriatric types are current on hepatitis shots and anything else that keeps the STD's away during your years at the horny old folks home!Pneumococcal booster. But, yah, have had the old man shingles shot. Cause a trip to the doctor without needles is not a trip to the doctor at all.![]()

Hard pass. If I was going to fly for them I would choose Punta Gorda as a domicile.
Back in my early days at ISU, I lost TWO Apple III motherboards to mice. First one went into the back of the computer through the vents, and peed on the wiring. Fried him AND the computer. I came back into my office to this really HORRIBLE smell. Second time, a mouse dragged a twistie (paper-covered wire, like on a sack of bread) into the housing as part of a nest. Over the weekend, the paper shredded away until finally the exposed wires shorted out the motherboard when I booted it up.My boss had a mouse set up camp in his desk top computer several years ago. Of course he got him out quick before he started chewing on things.

I got smart after that, and attached a wire mesh across the back that was too small for the damned mice to fit through.
Oh - did I mention the cockroaches that were as big as my thumb? We had an indoor loading dock with a direct connection to the steam tunnels.
And the rats that came up from the grain storage in the root cellar?
And the bats that we would find roosting on the curved faucets in the lab sinks?
Old Botany was a really interesting building to work in...![]()
PapaLew concurs...matter of fact, he thinks you have too much on there. He's not a helmet person...KC does NOT approve this!!!This is what I imagine a checklist for a motorcycle trip looks like.

Wise choice. The Hitler look is passe'The way it was described to me is he wasn't paying as close attention as he should have been and got too close and then figured it was best to take it off instead of trying to fix it.
Had a raised red, oddly square welt on my arm for a week or so. About an inch square, really really itchy. That's about it. No scar like most of my generation have from our small pox vaccines, a small circle on our upper left arm. They ended them before my kids came along, so unless you traveled overseas, you've probably not had one.
And even with the itchiness, it's STILL better than having full fledged shingles.
My smallpox vaccination never "took" so I a unique 60-something without the scar thingy. Had several attempts. Either means I am immuneor unprotected
.
ISU is advertising for a pilot, I think.
