Oooo. Just realized @wxman1 is at the Cubs - Cards game for Little wxman's first MLB game. Kris Bryant is one of his fave players, and he hit a HR.

Gif just for @cowgirl836

It was a pretty awesome night. For those with especially little kids the Cardinals are a great stadium to take them to as they have a kids play area and an air conditioned quiet/nursing room. We got there in time for the last half of the Cubs batting practice and there were a couple of random pitchers working out in the bullpen which our seats were next to. The bullpen coach gave a ball they were using to LittleWx so he is in heaven right now.

just as clarification, this was a FB friend who did the baby naming. I saw that today and made a Mckayla Maroney face. It certainly seems like those early 20th century names are back in style. Theodore, Esther, June..........I've made a few suggestions to DH on girl names and he's like no, no old lady names. So apparently I've caught a bit of that trend. But for real, there's one old lady name I like and it's a family name I've always liked. So he can suck it.
Oh yeah, I have no problem with the name June. And if you name your daughter June, and she happens to be born in June, whatever. I'm just not a fan of naming your child after the month, season, or area where they were born/conceived

I don't know how Violet and Eleanor didn't come straight to mind. Seeing a lot of those right now and other flowery/nature type ones - Wren, Hazel, Rose, Poppy, Marigold.
I'm just hopeful that "virtue" names don't make a comeback (e.g. Charity, chastity, Patience, Prudence). Unless you go with something original, like Thrift

Thankfully Hawkeye fans haven't made this a tradition or we would have a lot of kids named "bathroom", "toilet", "commode", "crapper", etc.
