Weather like this is great to play football in. Watch? Hell no, but playing would be fun.

Absolutely, and as someone that, when I played, typicaly it was for a less talented of the two teams, I knew how much more we had a chance to win, because it negates any speed advantage and even a lot of strength advantage. Fun as hell games to play in, and since Mason City shared the field with Newman and NIACC, some of our late season games kind of looked like this with how beat up that field would get.

That and a combination of apparently none of the posters in there have ever played a football game in ****** weather conditions.

Well, one look at me and you can be assured with 99.9% accuracy that I never played organized football.

Although, at our Texas gamewatch there was an old guy (like my age old) about my size wearing an old well worn I-State letter jacket. Chatted some and found out we were in school at the same time. Asked him what he lettered in (thinking track or something) and he answered football on Johnny Majors old teams.

Made it home a couple hours ago. The players seemed really unsure of their footing at times and offensive play calling was real vanilla. David Montgomery between the tackles most of the time.

Not exactly sure.
You guys may not know we were inches from winning the wrestling dual against Iowa. Gomez needed to get the Iowa wrestlers shoulder down another inch or two to pin him and win the dual.
