You haven't scared me away...yet ;). One of the reasons I love this internship so much is because I get to be outside half the time and inside half the time. Today was by far the nicest day of the year so far, especially in NW Iowa, and of course all of the work I had to to today was inside. I had a hard time not getting too distracted looking out the window.

Just now getting a good look at state track schedule.

This is where I begin to weep bitterly and say "How the $×=/;;*> $#@%*& am I going to do this?" (With math, it seems)

I'll live...but if you count the kids on the relay teams, I've got 117 athletes to cover. whew.

Went to the tailgate tour tonight. Kids loved it and were great. Missed out on our raffle number being called to win a signed football by Campbell because I was trying to locate the kids to get them ready for their part.

My transplanted rhubarb is looking good. The peonies I transplanted last yr are beginning to set buds (most of them) so evidently I didn't get them planted too deep because then supposedly they don't bloom.

Fired up the grill tonight much more successful than last time helps if it's not dark, cold and raining out.

Foggy out in the am cleared off into a beautiful day, would be good to put a wk of these together.

Had to take the wife & kids to a family activity 2 1/2 hours away . . . agreed to carpool with her sister (my sister-in-law) in their van. 3 adults and 3 kids in the van.

I get one of the middle seats with no head rest.

Sister-in-law (driving) checks her cell phone several times during the drive to read texts from her husband. After the 2nd or 3rd time I say "Maybe [wife] can check that for you?" -- she didn't get the hint. I offer to drive the next leg. She still didn't get the hint.

Urgh.

Wife gets mad that I drive all the time, I get irritated because I’m the one with the 45 minute commute and drive mostly for work and still drive. Wife lives on her phone while driving and I hate it. Can’t you leave FB alone for an hour?

I just saw that FOX cancelled "The Mick"
That's one of the few shows I actually watched. Sick and twisted funny.
 
Still trying to flush gnat parts from my right eye. There were swarms of gnats out and a good number of them ended up in my eye while biking. Think I need to throw some eye wash into the bike bag. Hard to see your eye if you need glasses to see your eye clearly.

Adds to list of why spouses are useful.
