Mine too, but no one at work will play me anymore. You can see the banana-shaped game bag that holds the tiles on the table.
The kid said "peel" which is what you say when you use all your letters, and everyone has to draw a letter. But the game doesn't end until there are no more letters to draw...and there was a huge draw pile still in the middle of the table.
In case you couldn't tell - it's one of my favorite games.![]()
I have never heard of Bananagrams before.So. My takeaway from Manifest:
It has possibilities.
They have NO clue how to play Bananagrams...and those tiles were 4x normal size...
Of course it isn't. Everyone knows the name is really Lew.Lou isn’t a real name. It’s like the Berenstein Bears thing. It’s all part of the simulation. No one actually is named Lou.
Challenge accepted!Mine too, but no one at work will play me anymore.![]()
So I have a few thoughts on that game, and since you’re from Wisconsin, this is the RTT, and the conversation in the other threads have moved on, this seems like a great place to do it:
1.) that was a great game regardless of who would have won
2.) the last play Wisconsin ran wasn’t a trick play, Iowa was prepared for it (all 11 guys were within 5 yards of the LOS) but just gave up, and it was necessary because Iowa was using it’s timeouts
3.) what was Iowa’s play call at the end? They needed a quick score and Iowa players were getting hit. They’re lucky none of their players were injured.

Along those lines, how do I have a two month old????!!
Are you asking how it actually happened, or just asking in amazement?
Do I need a jimlad?
They're bringing back Murphy Brown?
Of course it isn't. Everyone knows the name is really Lew.
Pretty cheap entertainment. Costs about $15 for the bag of tiles. Basically, everyone draws a certain number of tiles, and you each make your own crossword puzzle. When someone uses all theirs, they say peel, and everyone has to draw another. Once they are gone from the middle, first one to use theirs up wins. You can break down and rearrange your crossword as you see fit throughout the round. Pretty fun!I have never heard of Bananagrams before.
I am competitive, and have a reasonably large vocabulary, so...Challenge accepted!
Unless you're like my hypercompetitive sister who uses BS words from words with friends...
We use an agreed upon rule that words should be "common usage"; ie: part of the common vernacular. When we were teaching them the game we explained that to them. That pissed her off. I'm up for a challenge, but seriously, when you have five people playing and only one person (her) recognizes the "words" she's using, kinda takes the fun out of it...
