Careful, they took that deduction away except for military personnel in the TCJA. The Republicans may very well have screwed you on that deduction.Honestly not really worried about that because you can write those off on your taxes.

Damn. Good, but yeah I know what you mean. You're left wondering how much more you might have gotten.Well, they agreed to the additional $5k so fast that I’m almost thinking I should have asked for more....
Infants usually travel decent. Besides, just do what we did, one would drive, the other would ride in back and keep the baby content. Feel like driving miss daisy (reminds me I never saw this movie either for that thread)
Perhaps not asking for more now can pay dividends salary wise in the future.Well, they agreed to the additional $5k so fast that I’m almost thinking I should have asked for more....

Gah.
ISU Athletics put up something on Twitter, just showing clips (from last year) of people tailgating. Now I am sad.![]()
You can also go inside the ticket office on the west side and use their wifi...there were a bunch of people doing that.Just got back from the game. Obviously disappointed that the game was cancelled but I still had fun. Probably one of those games I'll always remember. A couple observations:
Students (probably more like drunk students) are incredibly creative when it comes to passing time. Someone started throwing a frisbee around and it evolved into a student-section-wide game. It was all fun and games until someone threw the frisbee on the field one too many times and they stopped giving it back. Then the cheerleaders threw out T-shirts and gave a student the box when it was empty. The box was used like a volleyball and made it all they way into the upper deck. Many kudos to all of the personnel on the field; ISU PD, the security team, photographers, etc. for being good sports with the students' shenanigans.
They changed the student ticket process this year so your tickets aren't automatically loaded onto your ISU ID. You have to bring up the webpage with the barcode for your ticket so they can scan it or have it already printed out. I got to the stadium and the cell reception was so bad I couldn't get my ticket to load. I had to stand by the bus stop in the middle of the tailgate lots so I could connect to the wifi, go to the webpage, and screenshot the barcode so I could get into the game. There were a ton of students having to step out of line because they couldn't load their tickets and I wonder how many didn't make it in at all. I'm not sure what was wrong with having your tickets on your ID but if they are really going to stick with this barcode deal they need to do something about the terrible cell reception at the stadium.
Think I'm wound down enough now to sleep. 'nite, all!
