Redford was 37, Newman was 48...but Redford had that baby-face that aged slowly. Both were prime male specimens, IMO.

Strike me down where I stand, but I actually think Newman was better looking than Redford. Someone posted a photo of a young Paul on /r/oldschoolcool, and the man was sexy AF.

Nope. They wouldn't consider me, and there's not an actual position. It's just a lecturer pool in case they have a need.

Couple of ads popped up this afternoon.

An adjunct one at Miami (OH) is a little interesting, but adjuncting tends to pay low and offer no benefits.

DePaul put something out, too. Their website dares you to learn anything, including what courses they are offering and what they actually need the instructor for.

@Fitzy school is in 3A state tournament on the other side of the bracket.

They nearly didn't get out of their 1st round. Davis County, winner of all of 5 games this season, was up 3-0 after the top half of the 3rd, but Albia scored 8 in the bottom half, and that was your final score...8-3.

Ottumwa last night at Indianola...top 6, still no score. Again, Ottumwa's 1B hits a solo HR to go ahead 1-0. Indianola's wunderkind (only a freshman) hit a 2-R HR bottom of the 6th, so they're up 2-1. Ottumwa ties it up with an RBI double from the star 3B, and Indianola can't score in the bottom half of the 7th. Top 8, Ottumwa had runners in scoring position, but couldn't get anyone across the plate. First pitch of the bottom half of the 8th...a solo HR for Indianola. Ottumwa loses only one senior, a corner outfielder. I'm thinking they'll be pretty good next year.

I goofed around with Northeastern University's M.A. in Public History. The concentration appears in a good # of job searches.

No surprises here. Boston is pricey.
But if anyone wants to sent, just to be safe, $250k our way immediately, I'll go ahead and apply.
