I have connections to Boxster's hometown but I wouldn't call it my hometown (depending on how you define it).
I think that I have been there more recently than Boxster, however.
The only "connections" I have are to the internet.

Well, my oldest daughter turned 17 today. She's an amazing girl. I'm not sure how she managed to acquire all that maturity in 17 years that I haven't acquired in 50 years (minus 6 days).
I wish I was Kim Jung-Un and didn't have to go potty.Oh hell, I'm almost 62 and I still act like I'm 17!
Except I can't sleep through the night, dammit!
The drop-down crib side was one of the best inventions ever once you figured out how to make it work with the side of your lower leg.Cutie!
I decided to stay out of the crib discussion. You have money and that is the way you want to spend it, fine. But admitting that is how much you are spending looks a little silly. When our oldest was due hubby was inbetween jobs but we "splurged" (like $350 maybe?) on an Italian crib from a baby store in the cities. Don't ask me why Italian was better, but it was a nice crib. Until they recalled all cribs with drop sides (loved that feature!) but we used the fix they gave us and used that crib for at least 8-10yrs total. The dresser we bought cheap, and that is still being used 15 years later. The next kid we bought a dresser at KMart and again, still in use 12 years later.
Does David Beckham still play for them? You hit it. The definition of "like" is in question as I watched a few minutes of one of their matches; that qualifies, right?
I guy from my dorm floor was from Dubuque. I can't remember his name but he was a little shorter than average, had medium-brown hair and sometime wore a hat. Do you know him?My hometown is actually Dubuque.
I have never seen oldman without a hat.I guy from my dorm floor was from Dubuque. I can't remember his name but he was a little shorter than average, had medium-brown hair and sometime wore a hat. Do you know him?
Was it spelled Birdie? So hubby called the landscape company yesterday before he left for the week to have them deliver mulch. They were having issues finding our name in their system even though they did our entire backyard and have done mulch delivery before. Hopefully the gal got everything correct, hubby looked on an old invoice and our last name was spelled wrong.
It's probably not him then since this dude only wore a hat sometimes.I have never seen oldman without a hat.

Better be careful about this. I think Oldman went to ISU about the same time us you and I so you may very well have seen him with or without a hat.Well, I've never seen oldman with a hat.
The newsletter from our school district recently did a story on one of my daughter's friends that got a perfect ACT score. During the interview, she said that she liked to do normal teenage things stating, "I like to watch Netflix and right now I'm reading War and Peace".

Parts of it are good but there are long stretches where very little happens. Like a Russian Winter, reading War and Peace is about perseverance, and vodka.I've kind of wanted to read that, but never had the time. Maybe I'll read it after graduation.
Sounds like it'll just be a continuation of law school, so that's fineParts of it are good but there are long stretches where very little happens. Like a Russian Winter, reading War and peace is about perseverance, and vodka.
Sorry I found this funny despite the fact that you told us all that it is definitively not funny. I'll try not to snicker - or at least turn my head so Z can't see me.The quote that almost had me extending bedtime last night to play, 'I'm an empress and I'm going to ride my dragon!" I was really curious to see where she was going with that, but the dragon included jumping on her bed. (Which was a reasonably priced BabiesRUs convertible.) Unfortunately, she is now jumping hard enough the bed is starting to have issues.
