Bonus: When I try to make up for lost time by driving fast, I get criticized for driving "like a maniac".

Extra bonus: When we arrive late somewhere, I could be out of the car and holding the front door of the building open before my wife realizes the car has stopped and that she should probably unbuckle her seatbelt and get her purse situated.

That is a perfect portrayal of my wife if you add "put down her phone," before "unbuckle the seatbelt".
 
Irma hangover. I may or may not have thrown a stress ball at the TV when Anderson Cooper said how happy he was it was veering toward Orlando. Finally got an app for a local Orlando channel (WFTV which became WTFTV in my head by about 2:00 a.m.) whose projections were way more accurate than the European model and whatever they kept calling the other one. I think my husband's in love with the female anchor.

Son kept power all night and is fine. Fortunately on the northeast side of Orlando. They are having a nerdy board game marathon.

We live in parallel universes. I get out and wait to hit the lock button on my remote.....and wait........and wait.......and wait.........

You know, Boxster, I didn't get to wish you HBD - so I hope it was a good one. (walleye and all!) And if knew you were a Packer fan, I certainly would have treated you with a lot mroe respect! (I'm a Twins fan, I know you're a Yanks guy, and that's ok too.)
