So, I did a thing. I missed the end of the game on Saturday because I had an appointment at the humane society for this little guy. He has been playing with Lulu non stop since I brought him home. The shelter didn't know a ton about him, other than he was smart. Seems to already be potty trained, is good on a leash (better than Lulu), and knows basic commands.
Does he have a name besides "Lulu's lil bro"?

You can fight your genetics. I used to be chronically late, about 5-10 minutes where ever I needed to go, but I've tried to adjust and be either a few minutes early, or right on time. If I'm late, it's usually because someone else is driving and has picked up late.
I did the same. My family is habitually late and I fought through it in my late 20's/early 30's. However, my wife was habitually early growing up and now tends to like being late. I guess there's a yin and a yang to everything. You just rarely see it manifest itself so directly.

Just caught up the past several days.

The only thing I retained was that kickball is starting back up on Thursday.

As far as being late or early, I like being on time or a little early.

My wife likes being on time as well.

However
, only one of us is actually ever ready to leave on time. The other one has to pee one more time, say goodbye to the cats, find her phone, remember where she put a list or pick up something on the floor that has been there for days but now seems to bug her.

Bonus: When I try to make up for lost time by driving fast, I get criticized for driving "like a maniac".

Extra bonus: When we arrive late somewhere, I could be out of the car and holding the front door of the building open before my wife realizes the car has stopped and that she should probably unbuckle her seatbelt and get her purse situated.

I grew up in a family where my father always needed to be early, where as my mother was always late no matter what it was. I have more of my fathers gene on that one, If I'm not 5 minutes early to something I will start to stress out.
