I'm not super familiar with the severity of hail dents, but they had seemed small to me. I mean, we didn't notice them that first day when I got home, but probably cause the car was still all wet.

I'm not super familiar with the severity of hail dents, but they had seemed small to me. I mean, we didn't notice them that first day when I got home, but probably cause the car was still all wet.
My parents would make liver 5-6 times a year. I'd eat it because if I didn't eat it warm, I sat there until it was gone. As much as I didn't like it warm, I certainly didn't like it cold.
We also ate heart, gizzards, cow tongue, jowl, head cheese and treipen. If any of those are decently prepared, they are all ok to eat. I actually enjoy the head cheese and treipen prepared at my hometown's Oktoberfest.
I actually thought of you yesterday when I was at the grocery store and saw a jackfruit sitting right in the middle of the produce section. It was either that or a dragon egg. Coulda been a dragon egg
You'd better recruit some help if you are gonna eat that omelette.
Took the kids camping last weekend. My son sat up just as Mrs. Velo was leaning down to kiss him good night in the tent. She ended up with an instant goose egg on her eyebrow. By yesterday she had the prettiest little black eye you have ever seen. It looks like she put a thick line of dark blue, red and purple eye shadow right along the lash line on her eye lid. I've never seen a black eye quite like that before. I accused her of stealing Left Eye Lopes' schtick. Good thing she didn't point out that it is actually her right eye.
Hey, I am still alive! I didn't even cry.
Crying Summary:
- 7-year old stubs toe. Not a compound fracture, only sounded like it.
- 7-year old gets arm stuck in my mail slot.
- 7-year old gets hit in the mouth by safety kill lever on my mower after I told him to stop messing with it and he kept messing with it.
Karma - 5-year old and 7-year old. Toy fights and brotherly love. Multiple.
- 8-month old after getting pinched in lip by car seat snap. She cried for like 30 seconds max, she's a little rock star.
I love 10 hour days. Still doing storm damage. Huge soft maple tree completely uprooted. Didn't finish.
The local KFC will post on its sign "Livers and gizzards" often. I ALWAYS want to read it "Lizards and Gizzards".
My father-in-law will cook walleye cheek...still tastes like walleye
Just got 3 mosquito bites. 2 on my finger, one on the elbow. Of course, I didn't get it either.
Wx, I know your kids are going to be really little for a while, but I would suggest waiting till they were in their late single digits or early teens and take them then. I never got to go to DC until I was in my late 20's and hope to go back again and see more of it.
There's a coffee shop/hipster bar across the street from my office. I go there pretty regularly to have a drink while at work (all local beers). They're all natural and vegan, and all of their meals are made with jackfruit. Their tacos made with jackfruit are awesome.

LittleWx has learned how to open the gate. Not sure how long it will take him to figure out the carabiner that we out on to "lock" it. He has also started to attempt climbing the fence and is in full on "I do it" mode.
We're sooooooo eager for them to take their first steps. From then on out, though, we will spend the next 15 or so years trying to keep up with them!
My nephew went the longest time without speaking. He would just point and make sounds. Then one day he finally started speaking and never would stop. My sister said "I was so worried he was never going to talk, now I worry that he's never going to shut up"
