Even with our slight worry over Z due to Doria, we didn't have ultrasounds that often. Now, our OB did increase the heart monitor. Z lived to scare us. *ugh*
I would have understood if you did. I just know that with a couple of exceptions, most of their pregnancies were entirely routine...and insurance didn't always cover everything. It got a bit expensive for a couple of them.

A morning spent at the dentist today.

It occurs to me with all the advances in technology and medicine - shouldn't there be a better more modern (and less discomfort, pain and bleeding) way to clean our teeth than poking and scraping with very sharp instruments?

Seems almost 19th century.

My dad always said (not sure if joking) that during WWII, the Army didn't give you any drugs, they just had someone stand on each side of the chair to catch you if you passed out during dental work.

Hey everybody. New uniforms mean new uniform threads.

Uniform threads are like a combination of porn and crack to the uniform fetish crowd. I just stay out of those threads.

Late to the These Boots Are Made for Walking posts but if you mention that you have to play this scene. The song was the perfect setup to it. Hey, any movie that finds an appropriate way to use Bird's the Word for a scene is awesome. And yeah, I watched it recently.

They can use ultrasonic scalers, however they probably should do some manual work as well even with that technology.

Going to be a tough one to call but the storms in the Wichita area now should keep the threat lower. Tell him to watch the stuff down by Medicine Lodge though.

He decided 9-12 was worst so was going to keep on eye on radar and make a call soon. Friend also has basement.

Not exactly sure.
3:00p, and I FINALLY got a meal in me. Well, a hot dog. Had only had an 8oz cup of coffee before I left.

@BCClone , how'd the kidlet do?

Food at Drake was bad this year, Imo. Was looking for tall chick walking around in field but didn't see you. We decided to sit in turn four this year to see the long jump.

My son's relay team set a PR by 9 seconds with each kid running their fastest split. First time in two years they all put it together. They ran a time to place 5/6 last year only to have everyone go nuts and blow times up. Finished 11th, but all four happy afterwards since they ran their best over the two years as a team. 3 seniors on his relay team so he has to find something else to hook up to to make it back.
