It's just the typical graffiti, "For a good time, call cyrocksmypants, 612-555-1234".

Actually, it's just a small black roundish thingy.

They could at least get my number right if they're promising a good time!

Nah, it was there all season.
The outside of the building is landlord responsibility and the landlord is the city of Minneapolis, so that should explain why it's still there.

I haven't posted on CF in months and it's probably almost been a year since I Iast talked to you guys. Hope everything has been well.

I finished up my first year of grad school a couple weeks ago. The semester ended in early April but I took a 4 week night class in Des Moines. I had a way busy semester with 21 credits. I'm taking a summer class and going to California before fall classes start so I can have an easy fall semester and graduate in December.

I went to China over spring break for a study abroad trip. I walked the Great Wall and did a bunch of other cool things. I was in Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou.

I'm no longer going to die alone like I thought. I have a great girlfriend. We started dating in early December.

That's about all that's happened to me.

Don't be modest - you have a gorgeous girlfriend. And every pic I've seen, you're smiling like a fool. I love it, and I'm happy for you. :)

I'm actually going there today to get our off-season posters up. I think the graffiti is endearing to that area. Plus we're relocating that store in a few months. Not worth it to fix.
Until you get the nastygram from the City. Then you have something like 48 hours to get it removed and prove it to them or you get fined.

EDIT: This is even funnier now that I know the building is owned by the City. They will still send themselves the nastygram. Believe me, I know.

China is on my bucket list for a variety of reasons. Any must-see recommendations? I don't mind the touristy things if they are worth seeing.

The Great Wall was my favorite thing we did. I'd check out the Pearl Market. It wasn't my favorite but the people trying to get you to buy their things are insane. Definitely go to The Bund in Shanghai.

Beijing and Shanghai are so different from each other. They said Shanghai is 15-20 years ahead. I took a bullet train from Beijing to Shanghai. If you have the chance and time to do it, I'd recommend it. It was about a 5 hour ride I think.
