I am. It was thick before the 39 split, but it's good now. They're doing some major power line constriction along 90/94.

they are. Last fall when they were clearing it out we were trying to decide (on a drive to the Dells area) if it was power line or gas line.

FB tried to "shame" me a while back by telling me if I made more friends I'd have more stuff to fill my newsfeed. I'm quite fine with a limited number of friends, FB - I don't need 650 people I don't know or remember clogging my feed. :)
But then you can't get more people sharing facebook memories from 5 years ago when they ate dinner at some place.

I don't Facebook other than to check my husband's once a day and see if there are any good pictures of family. However, it seems like it is 99% junk and very little I care about. Used to be better a long time ago.

I find all of the religious and political crap disturbing, both from his FB friends and Facebook itself with all of their slanted news crap. By the time you wade through all of that and the ads and the arrogant BIL's running and workout schedules, there is very little worth a damn.

Waiting for Facebook to go down in the Russia election tampering investigation.

That being said, I recommend that Boxster spend his birthday somewhere other than Facebook, with good friends, good food, good booze, good conversation, and having a good time. And don't be ded before then, cause then that birthday ain't happening.

Facebook has been pointless for years. 90% of my news feed is fill with photos and posts of people I don't know because the people I'm friends with "liked this", "reacted to this", or "commented on this" of posts from people they're friends with. So that needs to be in my news feed?

I can go days without looking at Facebook and feel like I didn't miss a thing.

You can turn all of those notifications off in settings.

Other thing Facebook annoying: people begging people to comment or react or whatever to see who cares about them. WTF? How about interact with people in real life and that should tell you what they think about you. Damn ******* be crazy.

If you don't make it Facebook official, you don't truly care about that person.

Explain more of "people in real life" stuff. I am intrigued.

Just went by the trailer park that got hit by a tornado earlier in the year. Chetek, WI. Trees are really tore up.

How much further north did you go? That's my old stomping grounds.
Never mind you answered this already. If you go up to Solon Springs my BB friend lives there, wave as you go by.

Wife watching/listening to a live feed of a concert of a terrible band. I'm about to break her phone

What's even worse is the concert is happening 2 blocks from our house and if she wants to hear it she can just turn off her phone and open the window.

I do not have Facebook and from the way you people talk about it I'm not sure if I want it. I've never convinced myself to sign up. I do however randomly contact people if I wonder how they are doing.
