Random Thoughts VIII: The Ocho

I put a garbage bags over the toilet and somehow got everything painted behind it. Not great, but no longer white at least


So I guess dh and some other people are excited tonight. I remember him watching games when we were first dating. I believe those were some rough years so this is cool for him and many others :)

That's pretty much the story of my life.
Started a project at 5pm. As we were finishing up at 2am I get an IM from one of the managers asking me to help with this other clusterfuck of a project that is an hour behind schedule.

Dear Sleepless in Cedar Rapids,

No, you will not be able function properly and could end up falling asleep in the 1st inning. Is this what you what? Try and get some sleep. Other letters to me indicate half the nation is ****** up on opiates so borrow a couple tablets from a friend. They will make you replace them later though, they are addicted so keep that in mind.

Mmm, temp in garage is 58 which is 8 degrees above the paint instructions minimum temp so I guess I'll finish painting and risk that it is not for naught because of the potential Cubs apocalypse. CG is soldiering on with her painting so I'll follow her optimistic lead. And now picturing CG wielding a paint brush and singing Tomorrow.

Team we have to play is coming down on Friday. Over 3 hours away, which means they'd have to get out of school early. Highly doubt there will be many fans that come.

Tomorrow isn't a sultry enough song for her voice.
 
I despise training/job shadowing people.


New guy starts tomorrow and has to follow me 8-5 which will mean I get nothing done that I should. Then I'm off Tuesday and Wednesday for my dads surgery and then he's back with me Thursday I think. And then the next week I have him M-W and then a different person Thursday and Friday. **** this

Yep, not my fave this game either. Hope your dad's surgery isn't too serious and he has a smooth recovery

Hope your dad's surgery goes well. By getting nothing done does that mean less CF & pornhub time while training the new guy:rolleyes:.
