I don't comment much on grammar issues but my OCD still flares up when I see them. Of course I know mine isn't perfect. I have given up trying to get who/whom correct and usually try to craft my sentences around the pitfall. I still say 'good' when I should say 'well', but so does 90% of 'Murica.Typed your when I meant you're in a thread. My brain knows the difference but my fingers and eyes doesn't always cooperate. I noticed it later and fixed it before the grammar stasi caught me.
Winning or did they just let get me away with it?

I used to work pretty hard at not ending sentences with prepositions, but that made them so stilted it wasn't worth it.

I'll forgive your/you're and their/there/they're. They all sound the same, and usually when you're reading to yourself, you tend to skip it.
Lose and loose? Nuh-uh. That's my grammatical crusade. They're two different words, meaning two completely different things, pronounced two completely different ways.
Oh, and you're not "done". You're "finished". "Done" is only turkeys and cakes. (Thanks Mrs. Cottingham, 7th and 8th grade English teacher) [Ever so often, I'll used "done", even though I know I'm "wrong"]

I'm watching the Duke/Louisville game. Duke was down by 3 with about 2 minutes left, forced Louisville to try a field goal on a fourth and 22 and the kicker missed the uprights. However, a Duke players collides with the kicker's planted leg, and the defender is flagged for roughing the kicker. The Cardinals get the first down, and then eventually runs it in for the touchdown. Now Duke is down 24-14. I don't think I have ever seen ISU do that, so we got that going for us I guess.
Montreal is pretty, yo. The oddly young dad of two 5-10 year old boys at the fancy place dinner seemingly trying to impress his father & grandfather by explaining vectors and imaginary numbers to the kids gained no points from me. Dude, the kids did not get it, despite how brilliant you thought they were. This was evidenced by one saying "I've got a letter for 4! It's 'H'"! Dad also tried to explain compounding interest.
Dh asked me what time it was and I said "bedtime". No, not for me. The kids!

Didn't go to the madness thing tonight, but figured it would be on cytv. Maybe it was online only because it wasn't on the cytv mediacom channel.
It wasn't. They said they'll be replaying it throughout the week but couldn't do it live because of soccer.
I'm sure they would get way more people wanting to watch Hilton Madness than a soccer match but whatever.
Went to Madness, parquet was pretty darn full they had the balcony closed off. Highlight was Donavan Jackson with the upset (IMO) in the three point contest. The rest of it was pretty good got a little sample of Cyclone BB so it was a good night. Personally I would like to dump Sesker and have JW give it a try, but then I guess it would have to be held after a home game or on a home game weekend so he would be available to do it. Saw KC & Papalew in the parking lot, but they were too far away to say Hi to, so "HI" belatedly to KC & Lew.
Went to the football game with friends. They got steam rolled and then we went out for drinks. So just like high school.
Even if they say that, I'd imagine it's really more to try to get higher attendance.
