Random Thoughts VIII: The Ocho

probably do kickball update tonight, only in the office for about 3 more hours today for a total of 7 this week. Gots stuff to do. Also Dh tentatively agreed to a paint color so I'm going and getting stuff tonight. My mom said something about tape you can put on that can stay a bit longer for the trim and edges? I should text and ask. Anyone have luck with that? Cause then I could start taping tonight.

Also, can you edge the night before or is it better that we do that tomorrow too? I know you're supposed to keep a wet edge, but I don't see how that really works with cutting in. It's going to be dry by the time you are using a roller anyway.

They read a little peachy here but the one I like is the center piece of paper, color on the right. so in between a really light color and a pretty dark one.

Your picture looks like the art gallery at a preschool.

BTW, I'd edge at the same time for a cleaner look. You'll see a line otherwise.

Oh, and I also like the yellow you mentioned. Speaking from experience, I'd err on the subtle side with a color like yellow since it will come out brighter than you think. We were going for morning sunrise with my daughter's room and it turned out looking more like high noon on Mercury.

yeah that's definitely what we don't want to have happen! Dh likes the one to the right more but I said it's too bright and he's come around. I'm even still a bit unsure if the one we picked is too bright. Though that's only been in natural daylight and honestly, a year of living there we usually have the shades down and light on when we use it. It should be ok. Should.

So we're real clear here, I'm asking this in a largely apolitical manner. Are you casting Trump as Palpatine, Vader, or someone else? How about Hillary- where would you cast her in the Star Wars universe?

I am SOOOOOO tempted to equate him to JarJar...but that would be mean to JarJar.
Trump is definitely on the dark side but not a Jedi. If I had to place him anywhere, he would probably be Jabba the Hutt. I'll have to give Hillary's alter ego some thought...
