**** it I'm just gonna move to somewhere in Central America and perfect my Spanish
Also, we've had a lot of people from south of the border working for us over the years, from Guatemala to further south in Colombia & Uruguay. We currently have an Ecuadorian there. For what it's worth, there is as much difference in the dialects they speak as there is between people in the Bronx, in Tallahassee, in Fargo, and in London. Choose your country wisely. :)

Well I can understand mostly everything in Narcos on netflix. Colombia it is!

So it's & its. It's is a contraction so you use the apostrophe but its in context is plural yeah?

On the it's and its I remember it this way...

It's is the contraction of it and is. You're leaving out a whole damn letter, so you need to shove the apostrophe in there to take its place.

The other one is just for possessive, not nearly as radical of a use of the English language.

in what context do you use s'

Plural possessive. For instance (if you had more than one cat)"Did you clean out the cats' litter box?"

Although, who elses (elses'? else's? ACK! See?) litter box would it be?

Me: "Hey, where are the Smiths (not their real name)? Haven't seen them in a few weeks and they were always here."
Mrs. GTO: "They moved to another suburb (maybe an extra 15 minutes) so maybe that's why they're not coming anymore."
Me: "Really? They used to be balls-deep in the church."
Mrs. GTO (with eyes wide open): "THAT's how you want to say it?!"
Me: (after thinking about it a couple of seconds) "Sure. Why not?"

She gave me a disapproving look, so I don't think she was too thrilled with me.

Has your wife never been balls deep in Catholicism?
