At the fair this weekend, I noticed a stand for an Independent candidate. Today, I discovered that, when asked a question about Syria, Gary Johnson (Reform Party) had never heard of Aleppo. These things got me thinking and I decided to look at some of the smaller party candidates that are running for president. These two things stood out to me.

In Oklahoma, Joe Exotic is on the ballot as a presidential candidate.

In New Jersey, there is a candidate from the Nutrition Party.

Is this possibly going to get moved to The Cave?

Probably not just for that. But this is why I love getting absentee ballots; I can look up all the really small parties which often have very "interesting" platforms

FYI--school picture day is one of the most dreaded days of the year. Especially for a mother of 3 girls (in school--in 2 years it will be 4).

trying out new shoes today. They felt fine last night as I got my last 2k steps in. Which was after a workout at the end of the day when my feet are theoretically at their biggest.

Today they pinch and rub. What is this.

The drama and indecision is tough too handle. However, with a boy, you're anxious for about a month (until you receive the pictures) to find out if what he spilled on himself is noticeable in the picture or not.

my mom always tried to do my hair nicely for school pictures and I would want to pick out a nice outfit.

One year we forgot it was that day it was and I was wearing the exact same outfit I had on the year before. My hair wasn't done though so you could tell them apart.

I like KC's use of "blop", because with a dip/spread I make, I say to use "3-4 glugs" of worsterschire sauce.

So many of my recipes have morphed into by guess & by golly measurements over the years, it's hard to write one down that someone who hasn't been cooking meals for forty years will understand!

My feet got longer over the course of my pregnancies. I wore a 6 from high school to college. After kid 2 I had to start wearing 7's.

heck, I cook like that now. Anytime I try something new, I usually combine like 4 recipes together. But then I don't write down what I actually went with so if I want to make it again....it's all guesstimation.
