I couldn't get it sized right (limited photo editing software at work and limited patience to boot) and was getting annoyed. I may bring it back if I take more time to tinker with the old photo. My new one is really dark. I'm not diggin it.
 
Someone posted on FB about Trump's comments on the whole getting a Purple Heart thing. A very right wing guy comes in and says "People need to stop taking what he says so seriously and lighten up".

JSmith if you are still lurking I guarantee you can guess who it was.

Took me a while to figure out what it was. I vote for the other one. Get busy, mister!!!

FWIW, Boxster nagged me until I resized Rasta. He didn't like how fuzzy she was with the auto-compression of the image when we switched formats.

Heat index is only 94 with dewpoint still at 72 so high probability I won't heat stroke.

By the way - true story: I've used this avatar on several platforms & message boards and it has always been a very small picture. I never noticed the joint until someone on CF started teasing me about it. All I saw was her face, dreds & hat. :oops:

Definitely should have mowed yesterday. Curse you work!
 
I got some dishes done this morning and tried to run the disposal. I thought I had everything out of it (toddler sized silverware), but it still sounded bad. I stop it and look/feel with my glove and I don't feel anything. Try again and it doesn't move and burn smell. :( I hope the landlord came by today to fix it.
 
I need to stop trying to walk half to a mile in the wrong shoes. I can feel the blisters trying to form. At least I did something today!
 
In other news I started my day hearing, "I broke the hot water dispenser. Can you look into it?"

Good news is that I only need to replace the faucet mechanism.

I've decided to only do instrumental because of that. Except for Christmas time. It's easier to leave on at a lower volume.

The worst is when I have headphones on and am obviously listening to something. And someone just starts talking to me and asking me something.

Then I have to stop them, take off my headphones, and ask them to repeat themselves.

Seriously. Headphones have been around a long time. This should not be a new science to anyone.
