Don't get me wrong: if I was in your situation, I would think twice also. I suspect in November the risk would be minimal, but if it's an avoidable risk, avoid it. Especially when you're talking about a life.

I was more thinking we just go somewhere that Zika is not yet...like Colorado in September.
or you can do that too. I had plans to go to CO in Sept a few years ago. Then all the flooding in Boulder happened the week prior.
I didn't run this morning because I'm supposed to do six miles and I'm avoiding it. Haven't run since last Tuesday. Convinced myself yeah sure I'll run after work. Was just outside to take a phone call and I'm already regretting this. It's too humid.
Having thoughts about going to Orlando this fall. My brother might not be going leaving me with no one to go on the fun adult rides (everyone else going will be in the too young or too older category).

Maybe I misunderstand what Zika is, but I thought it was only a major concern with little kids and super old people? Isn't it kind of like West Nile where yes, anyone CAN get it, but your chances as a healthy (meaning no autoimmune disorders) adult aren't incredibly slim?
