At least Al is looking stuff up. That's the best way to do discussion on this stuff. I just disagree with the source this time.
 
Bored.

Channel flipped through The Last Ship. Watched a few minutes, long enough to remind me why I don't watch this. Damn soap opera where the good guys are always captured and held prisoner.

Flipped over to replay of Tour de France (did I mention I am bored) and it is hailing at the finish of the stage. Mountain weather!

yeah, the games were odd. Two very short ones (but with long breaks in between) and nothing done to announce a 'winner' and neither were like, fun or interesting ones about the couple or bride. Just fill in the blank thing (but not like mad libs or something funny) and a matching one. Very odd.


Cupcakes were good though. Finding out that the 3pm August afternoon wedding is in a church with no A/C followed by tent reception with no A/C or fans was not good.

But you have summery cute dress to wear to it, so that will help keep you cool. This is the "country casual" wedding isn't it? I wish you would post pics of it.

That's not too bad. In between Z using me as a diving platform /tree /and pretty much a jungle gym I had Master Chef Jr season 1&2 streaming in the background.

Missed the hail part seen it was raining cats and dogs, huge climb and that rain it must have been a ***** of a ride. Heard the announcers talk about Froome's attack on the downhill yesterday topped out at 55+mph. I would like to see a replay/clip of that, that had to be cray.
 
I don't know what I've done to **** off the biking gods, but I might have to find a Schwinn to sacrifice. New tube went flat in parking lot of trail yesterday, repumped it to 70# and it is down to 30# tonight, I'll call bike shop tomorrow to get replacement lined up. Went to leave on tonight's ride back brake was out of alignment and dragging on tire, it was fine when I put it in garage. Got out allen wrenches realigned it and went. going up second big hill dropped chain off front gear, put it back on tried again, more problems finally took alternate hill with out so much (and slower) traffic. Rest of ride went ok, only good thing was at least the wind didn't change direction and give me a head wind on the way home.

Time to go steal boxsters bike and make life easier.
 
Found a video of Froome's descent it was cray. Clear over handle bars, no longer on seat either straddled or used frame for seat while pedaling almost horizontal, huge lean into the curves. it took lots of nerve to keep pushing it the way he did.

Brake problem was on newer bike not sure why brakes loosened I'm tempted to get some loc-tite and do it on both front and back brakes, also need to check into shortening the travel distance of shift lever, I think maybe the cable slipped/stretched. None of it was serious, but just annoying when it all happened in less than 24 hrs.
 
I think I'm going to focus on learning my guitar better. Like, I can play, but I'd never be any better than the rhythm in a band. I want to teach myself more.

Had to read this twice. Read that last sentence as "I want to touch myself more". That's what happens when you stay up this late.
 
So I am heading back on Wednesday. I decided today is going to be my last day in the office as pretty much everyone else is heading back Tuesday. Going to catch the train into London on Tuesday and try to see something. The way things have gone it will probably pour rain all day.
 
I would like to ask for just 24 hours for recharge....that's all.

But alas, both PT jobs today. A nap will be taken. Length and quality of said nap is up in the air.
