First time in my marriage that wifes decides to save money. Will now end up kicking my ***, but I can't argue if this is a trend. Have a wedding tomorrow south of Iowa city, was going to stay, but wife figures we can save money and drive the 3 1/2 hours home after the reception and dance.

This couple has had an open bar at all the kids' weddings. Can't get the wife drunk and then take her back to the hotel now. Looks like a diet Mountain Dew night and the only getting busy is getting busy driving.

It's in riverside, or something like that. Reception at the casino, if there is a casino there. Will wave in the general IC direction, you seem to be in the 5% of Hawks that are tolerable.

Next weekend we are in the Waterloo area (if sons baseball team wins 2 games I get to skip) for another wedding. These are the obnoxious type Hawks, and throw inlaws on top of that it and it's not something to look forward to.

3 1/2 hrs should be able to find a place to go parking between there and home. (unless you take the kids)

Just me and the misses. I guess another 2-3 minutes wouldn't stretch the drive much more.

Since its mostly the ****** mood I'm in, I've had several work emails I've written and decided I'd better not send as well

When I was working I did a similar thing. When I got that incredibly stupid email I would type out exactly how I felt about it, profanity and all. I would make sure the "to" addressee was my home email just in case I accidentally hit send instead of save.

Then a day or two later - when I wasn't so wound up - I'd open it up and read it. Then either delete it or go through and make it sound more genteel and professional before sending it.

Very cathartic!

I've been busy learning how to teach vendors how to properly submit work orders and then following up with them. It's been fun.

Dad got us Panchero's chips and queso. Z says, "Yumm. I like chocolate chip!"

my thing wants me to run Sat/Sun but I'm not sure I can Sun. with other stuff going on. Want to go to an art thing tomorrow so maybe just walking around in the nice weather will be exercise enough
