This kid that i haven't talked to for like 5-7 years and no one liked back in the day randomly texted me this yesterday.
Happy 4th of July to everyone.
This is a day we should remember not only those who have fought for our freedoms but most importantly what they fought for and against. Remember that they fought to make this country and put it on the map of this world. They fought for freedoms against tyrants that were trying to control their every decisions in life they made. They fought to give us the rights that we now have today such as the Bill of Rights and 2nd Amendment that are always under attack by those who want to run our lives each and every day. This does not just include gun control but our freedom of speech, right to vote, and right to pursue happiness.
So on this day I would like everyone to sit and think about those freedoms and rights and how they have changed but yet have not changed one bit in there last 240 years of this countries making. Remember what it took to gain those freedoms and rights and protect them. Think about what they fought against, the reasons Why they fought the fights they did, and the ideas that they fought and gave their lives for.
I ask you to Say a prayer today for this country and give thanks for what we have today.
God Bless America!!
Wtf. I really debated saying God Bless Obama but I figured that his head may explode.
