Random Thoughts VIII: The Ocho

I went with my GFs family to their cabin back in HS also. Jr/Sr year. I think JC is just a little paranoid, it was a blast. Especially the last night, the GF and I took the boat out fishing, except it got a little crazy on the he boat, IYKWIM.

That miyght after getting back, I showered quick (the mom came in and that was embarrassing). They made me sleep in a tent, so I went to bed. About 1 am I awaken to crazy chick getting crazy in my tent. When I finally get my bearings, turns out to be her mom. Said she liked what she saw when she walked in.

So JC, what is the worst that can happen?

Unfortunately I then woke up and realized we better get the boat back since I take off the next day. I showered, went to bed in my tent and left the next day.

Holy shmokes. That last paragraph was off my screen for a bit while I tried to get my bearings.

Well done, BC.

Sorry, McTall. I shouldn't have said anything. It just gets old when people come on here and get offended and butt hurt by anything that someone posts. If CF is so acerbic and negative as some people suggest, why do they keep coming here? People need to lighten up.
Nah you're good.

20th Class Reunion tonight. I'm more nervous than I expected to be. I enjoyed the 10th quite a bit, but none of my close friends are going this time.

At my 20 year (a few years back), most of us went skinny dipping in the town pool. Small town, small class, lots of beer, about 2:00 in the morning. Finally got to see some things that I'd always wondered about. The 20th was the best. You're old enough to know better, but still young enough to be stupid.

Went to my 40th three years ago. Depressing how many of them still live like they're in high school...

I was bored to tears, so was Lew. Most of the ones there still live in the Seattle area, and live VERY different lives from my quiet hick life in Iowa. I had nothing in common with most of them any more. After the 30th I told Lew I really didn't want to go again, but he talked me into this one. They had it in a hotel that gave our group a "discount" rate of ~$230/night for double occupancy. Cash bar; the dinner that was supposedly included in the tickets (which were about the same cost as the hotel rooms) was a lameass buffet with froufrou finger foods that was empty within 10 minutes of it opening. There were 300+ there, and probably a third of us didn't make it to the buffet before it was empty. They had places to sit for about 2/3 of the attendees (if you count the planters like the one we were sitting on).

There is no way in HELL I will be going to the 50th.

I'm supposed to plant some flowers, clean toilets, and do dishes. I want to cross stitch outside.

But I think I'm going to take a nap.

Just getting home from a long but fun day. Spent my day off today with a good friend who I don't see that often. Golfed 9 holes and as usual I sucked a big one. I'm convinced anyone on this site could beat me at golf. After a lunch we went and shot pool. Two seven game series however I suck at pool just as bad as I do at golf and lost both times 4-0. Went to Welch Ave. where I finally bested him at a game of foosball. A little red from playing golf but was worth it. I needed a day like this in the worst way.

I bet you could beat me at pool. Played with vacation friends last week (full disclosure, I was decently unsober) and I was pretty bad. Like, blind monkey bad. So take comfort in the fact that you are like 6,999,999,999th out of 7 billion at least.

I'm probably just a bad at golf though I haven't tried.

Watching the ISU/Kansas Big 12 championship replay on the Cyclones network. They said "Lots of NBA franchises will be backing the truck up for Hoiberg, but I don't think he's going anywhere. He loves it here and I think he's here to stay."

I haz a sad now.
