I can't imagine being in security that long. Usually fly from smaller airports so it's never that terrible. In my limited experience, ohare was always the worst.

CG, did you find a sun dress?

not yet, I may check the Old Navy over here too. I always forget we have one.

I didn't realize your flight was Tuesday. Are you looking for maxi style or something shorter?

Old navy usually has cute casual dresses. Express, macys. I've gotten cute dresses from the buckle.

oh no, we don't go til a month from today. I'm hoping a Tuesday morning will be less busy than a Saturday. I'm kinda looking for both. A nice maxi one and then a cute shorter casual one.

I had a two hour wait in Honolulu once. Like, 5:30am and it was all the way down the check in area and wrapped around the automatic check in machines and back down again.

we did this out of o'hare a couple years ago and for our honeymoon and it was pretty reasonable. So I guess I'll cross my fingers. Maybe look at that pre-check thing. But we fly so sporadically that I don't want to spend a ton on it.

I seriously considered upgrading with the pre check, but most of the airports I fly out of currently, it doesn't matter much. Doesn't seem like they get priority over regular other than not having to take their shoes off.

yeah I was wondering if it would be worth it

Sometimes you get it randomly. Somehow I had it on my flights to/from Phoenix back in March. It wasn't that big a deal in DSM because the lines are NEVER long here. However, coming back, Phoenix Sky Harbor had a line that was about 400 people long, and I walked right past the whole switchback (got a lot of glares too). For someone who doesn't stand well for long periods (my back), it was a blessing.

My big thing is, other than HNL, the majority of the airlports I fly out of right now are outer island small airports. If I were flying out of more big ones, I'd probably do it. If I were to get promoted where I'd have to fly much more, I wouldn't bat an eye to doing it.

Just show up in your underwear. Buy a swimsuit when you get there and maybe a tshirt. When you leave throw the bought clothes away and go home.

tsa lines on the news right now too

When we went to Seattle, we flew out of MSP. There were stories on the news that morning about how bad it was. We panicked and got there way early. Got thru in like a half hour. It also helped that we paid attention and picked the faster moving line, but still, I think it wouldn't have been that much longer.

TSA Pre check is the best investment I ever made. $85 for 5 years of no security lines at airports.

Lesson we learned today. LittleWx gets car sick like his mom.

Figured you'd appreciate this:

Not too bad for a kindergartner trying to spell aerodynamic. Did that on his own, I was doing other stuff noticed it on the plane later on. He always says he wants to make an aerodynamic plane, apparently he was going to make it so by writing it right on it.

I suggest spelling lessons.
