That's why I even said their waffle fries. Because I can't think of any chain places that sell them, so it was a unique item.
I only had them once at the Hilltop Tavern in Iowa City and they were chewy AF. Didn't like, but would be willing to try once more if I knew a place known for having good ones.
My dad used to make them all the time. Much better than what they sound like.
So I was driving down I77 in West Virginia and I see an Iowa State biodiesel bus heading the opposite direction.
Interesting since there is nothing on the schedule of being at WVU.
We had a busy day today. Woke up and went to Davenport for a rusty pilots seminar with my dad. Had a good conversation on where he is stands how serious he is about getting back into this. Also made a little thing for mothers day of LittleWx's feet, got groceries and went to see my buddy. I am beat.

Tried it and did not see the thrill. No self-loathing, but it was so bland.
My Friends and I are playing the Par Drunk Challenge on monday. Here are the rules we created. Thought it was pretty creative. Hole 9 will be interesting.
- 2 man Best Ball
- 9 Beers per partner, 9 Holes
- One beer much be finished be each partner by the start of the next hole.
- That leaves 6 beers per twosome left.
- If a twosome hits both of their balls OB or 3 Putt each partner drinks a beer each
- If a twosome gets on fire, aka hitting 3 FIR; 3 GIR; or 3 1 putts in a row, they can hand one beer for the other team to drink.

Chicken gizzards good but usually chewy. I break down and get them every once in a while usually from a truck stop.

Well time to get enthused about making salads. They both taste better if they have a chance to chill and meld flavors over nite.
