Carhartt or North face jacket? Can't decided.

Has that actually happened to anyone though? I know I have burnt a couple spots in tapes from leaving them in the car player on hot days.
Absolutely. It was an intricate operation using two pencils (one to twist the tape the other as a spacer where the ribbon enters the cassette) to rewind the cassette back into cassette.

see, I've done the pencil trick to get the ribbon back in after dropping a cassette but I have never seen it get tangled in a player

Sometimes I had to stick something like a screwdriver in the cassette player (especially the car type with the narrow insert) to push the ribbon down below the little rods that kept it in line. You could then pull the ribbon out to wind it back into the cassette.

I actually remember for awhile, I had to record songs from cd to cassette so I could listen to them in my old jeep. Then I got a tape adapter for the walkman and all hell broke loose

The old beater minivan only has a tape deck. Doesn't matter because when I do drive it I'm usually telling my daughter to turn it down.

My son's old blazer has a CD player and I noticed some of my old rock CDs are in his vehicle. I'm usually scared when I turn on his vehicle because the radio blows you out of your seat.

Raining here heavy. Supposed to rain all night. The game tonight is down by waverly and a lady in the bank just said they have a bunch of flooded out roads. Yippee!! Going to love tonight!!
