All statements involving the boyfriend make me a little uncomfortable. I guess I'll just have to call it the new normal. I think you're mentioning the trip to the lake. That would have been my wife's cousin's daughter's boyfriend. It was weird but went fine. they didn't socialize much with anybody else.

Our daughter's boyfriend was staying at a resort about 30 minutes away and my daughter did ask if we could pick him up to spend a day with us. We said no. We didn't need both teenage girls not talking to anybody else.

You could just do what my mom did and just call him her friend. Also good call not letting him be there. You don't want to be watching them all the time to make sure they won't disappear.

They're from Phoenix. Hope they stay at MIL and FIL. Yes heat bubble on us.

They will probably stay at BIL's because they all believe you aren't havingt fun unless you get so ****faced that you pass out or upchuck, daily. I don't have time for hangovers so I avoid them.
