Random Thoughts VIII: The Ocho

A stampede of cowbirds hanging around my neighborhood. There are going to be a ton of mother birds getting into all sorts of trouble with their mates when their clutch hatches. "Woman! That chick looks nothing like me!"
and I forgot, we got invited to a friend's to sit by their pool and grill. So we are no longer going to be at home.
Sounds fun! Besides the aforementioned bike ride to the library, we spent the afternoon in the garage/front yard, mrs00 and I got stuff ready for garage sale/cleaned the garage, little00 hosed things off for us and generally sprayed water over everything, littlest00 took a nap then joined us later. We were going to lay out some plastic sheeting for a redneck slip 'n' slide, but realized we should go to mass tonight, one of the couples we sat with as mentors for baptism class are having their child baptized tonight, so now kiddos are having a snack and mrs and I need to clean up for mass.
So I take it your sister is over her injury? I thought I remember you saying she suffered an injury awhile back.
Yeah, sprained mcl. It wasn't anything bad though. This is only the 2nd tourney of the year, so she had plenty of time to rest.
Is there any part of the year where players take a break or with out of school tournaments is it a all year thing? I take it she wants to play ball in college?
And then was all "sorry for stomping on your face, you should get some pie to make it better"
