If you don't mind me asking, what happened? You mentioned he was wearing a helmet in an earlier post so I am guessing some sort of accident on either a bicycle or motorcycle?

Was riding his motorcycle on Friday morning going to work when a car going the opposite direction turned left in front of him. He basically T-Boned it and flew over the car. CPR was needed and he was blue when the parademics arrived. The only issued now is that he has a broken nose and what we found out last night...DAI. Just Google DAI brain bleed.

not good :( I think I mentioned my coworker who was on her bike (bicycle) and hit by someone just over a month ago - messed up her leg pretty badly but thankfully no head injuries. People need to watch out when they are driving!

I've been riding for a long time so I know all about the hazards of riding in town. I wish your friend all the best
 
just did 4.5 in the rain - 10:40!!! I'm so excited that I cut 1:20 off my pace AND added distance. Left foot feels like it's getting a sore spot or like the humidity from the rain caused the bottom to rub a bit. It almost looks like something was maybe in my shoe? It isn't puffy like a blister but it's right between the ball and the arch.........I'm like please don't get a ouch spot there with 10 days to go.
 
Good news! On a scale of 1 to 5 with 5 being he won't make it he is a 1! It could be a year but they think he will get close to normal.

Next time you run in the rain make sure you wear your galoshes.

Feel like I'm bringing my parenting A game tonight. Blasting inappropriate songs in the van with the kiddos. Dinner for the kids was their choice so cheddar Pringles and Cocoa Pebbles.

Hey, the advantage of not being online all day, I went from Wx buddy bad news to wx buddy good-ish news in like 20 minutes! Went to Rochester and back today for a work-ish thing.
