I haven't been to a five guys in probably five years, they are okay, but if I'm going to have a burger I'd rather go to red robin.

The Grand Casinos used to run commercials with real people telling their "Grand Casino" stories about how they won a big jackpot and fell in love or something like that.Have I ever told you all my 5 Guys story? Too bad, I'm telling you again.
We were out and about and my son fell asleep in the car. We decided to get something to eat and Mrs. Velo suggested 5 Guys. I had never been to one - really I had never even heard of one - but I was game. I slung my out cold 3 year old over my shoulder and went in. It was overcast and just after dusk so we went from dark and quiet outside to bright and noisy inside. My son woke up looked around and promptly vomited whatever bright red drink he had been drinking before he went to sleep all over me and my Cyclone leather jacket. We obviously got our meals to go.
This was like 5 years ago but I can't see or go into a 5 Guys without this experience immediately coming to mind.
Now is when you type TL;DR.
woof, that demoncore thread. If you spend half the thread arguing with people and trying to convince them that it IS funny..........it's not.
Not directly at you, but in general....I mean, the guy researches serial killers in his free time for fun, let's not be surprised that he has an abnormal sense of what's okay/not okay. Not condoning it, but also not going to actually argue with the guy.
That's why I try to support the mom & pop type places as much as possible.Every now & again you come across inexpensive mom & pop diners that serve fresh hamburgers, with hand-pressed patties. If you find them, you remember them. The difference between a patty hand-pressed from fresh meat and a flat, pre-pressed, previously frozen burger patty is worth every extra penny you pay for fresh-pressed. Unfortunately, the diners tend to disappear because they can't compete with the speed & cheapness of the chains.![]()

Don't you hate it when someone you've known for years sends you a facebook friend request and it turns out they are one of those people that has to share every stinking article they read online.
