Why would he marry you then?

We heard the alarms, realized it was too cold for a tornado and checked the sky (blue sky to both the east and west). Weather.com wouldn't load as I'm sure everybody else was checking it. I also considered the nuke option but realized that we are far enough away from anything that would be targeted and prevailing winds generally would carry fallout away from us (yes, I probably read too many Tom Clancy-type novels to have this be something I considered).Sirens went off at 6:00 this morning. Boo that, it was a sleep in day. Went back to bed after figuring it couldn't possibly be a tornado and if Mpls was getting nuked I was a goner* anyway (3 miles to dwtn). Still, kind of annoying.

Assuming you're talking about 370, I've heard that is a mess. They've cut down the lanes on the highway that goes from my part of town, to the air force base where a lot of people work. There aren't too many alternatives to take.
I have a friend that's a deputy sheriff at the facility that sets off the alarms. I texted him to see if I could start the rumor that he's the one that set off the alarms. He texted back, "Go with it." His name is Jeff. Jeff woke everybody in Hennepin County up early this morning.Sirens went off at 6:00 this morning. Boo that, it was a sleep in day. Well, this is under the assumption that the relationship with the starter wife is crumbling at the foundation now that his income has significantly increased and he can afford one with big fake plastic boobs.
That will be nice when done. Do you know if they are doing anything for pedestrian traffic crossing C? It seems like a good candidate for a pedestrian bridge of some sort. Or maybe RC should connect their buildings with heated tunnels :spinny:
I've been dealing with the cluster at Edgewood and Collins. It's been fascinating to watch, but has made the commute hell on and off for a year now.

They always seem to do that. Start working on one road and then start working on the best alternative route. When they tore down the 120 St overpass to finish the west dodge expressway the following Monday they started repaving Miracle Hills drive. What a mess that wasYeah, I don't have to take it very often, so not a big deal for me. Everyone is routing to cornhusker, so that also takes forever and I guess capeheart is also under construction.

There's a rumor that it was supposed to go off at 6 pm because it's severe weather awareness month but somebody accidentally set it for 6 am.
It is officially construction season as my direct route to work is closed for the next 6 months.
Hey, I didn't know we took the same route into work.
Let me in the turning lane next time *******.
Home today from work with strep. Just picked up antibiotics nearly the size of a quarter (fortunately they cut in half easily). Mom was asking if we'd been sick at all this winter/spring last Thursday. Nope, avoided everything. BAM!! Next day, one of has it, and now we're both on meds. Guess I spoke too soon.
:arghh:
If you weren't posting on CF on your phone maybe you would see when I waved you in. If you snooze, I'm not giving you a second chance.
This was right by where that idiot put 4 shots into someone else's car last week, by the way.
