Within reason. The resulting layer of finely chopped oak leaves two or three inches deep would kill my yard.

Good News: The city street sweepers came by and gobbled up a ton of oak leaves that were in the street in front of my house.

Bad News: Their rotating brush went over the curb and ripped out a six inch swath out of my yard. Nice strip of bare dirt where my newly seeded grass was.
 
CG, I could have went and seen Scottie(barf) talk today. We were coming back from doing jobs in Beloit, and when we crossed over 90 on one of the new bridges, we saw a bunch of nicely dressed people on the other half of the bridge with a podium set up. A News 3 vehicle exiting 90 almost hit us. Had no idea what it was for until I watched the news tonight. I didn't see any other channels there, but there probably was. He wants to borrow $200 million for the roads and set up tolling. Smh...

just spent 20 minutes throwing the kickball to myself. Hope it pays off. Though that really only helps for catching fouls. Can't really practice a relay from the pitcher without someone else.

Can't teach athleticism
 
Stopped at one of the new taco wagons in Ames tonight, after about an hour at Best Buy setting up a replacement for my fried computer. EXcellent azada burrito, chicken tacos were small but tasty, enchilada was great. The only less good item was the pork tamale. It was true Mex style, wrapped in corn husk, but I'm pretty sure after they steamed the tamales they stored them under a heat lamp. Flavor was great, but it was really dry.

Question - I ended up with a brand of computer I don't recognize. Any of you familiar with Lenovo?

Yeah, they bought out IBM's PC line.

I had a lenovo laptop all through college and have a new one now. I really like them and think they do a great job.

Channel flipped by IndiePlex channel about 6:30 and was surprised to see something like The Dreamers on at that time (kinda early in the evening for movie channels to be going with THAT much nudity). I watched some, either for the occasional Doors song or that Eva Green is pretty much nekid the entire movie. Yah, that or something.

I wanted o not keep dropping easy catches. I made two plus a great throw from dh, so I did great tonigjt. One our first game, lost in the championship to dislocated shoulder team. First team has a douchewalker who comes up on the girls and tied in the 6th, our smallest girl got home, she was so ******* thrilled, so we're we. It was great.
