Yeah, I drop mine regularly and no breaking. I do sometimes stick my foot out so it hits my foot first.

Don't get me wrong, it's got some small chips and stuff in the corners, but nothing worse than what I'd deem as normal wear and tear. And when I drop it, it's usually on the cement or rocks. I don't have carpet in my house to break any falls.

I went through 12 different iphone 4s, never used a case, but I also had free replacement through Verizon (not sure how I ended up with that perk or when I lost it). I don't use a cover on my 6 but I haven't broken it yet...

Well, when you drop a phone it is falling further than the rest of us dropping one.

How does that even happen?! Did you accidentally drop 7 of them off the side of a boat during a cruise?

When I got my first smart phone I put the heavy-duty Otterbox case on it (granted it is purple and aqua with a girly design, so looks purty too). My hubby hated my phone in that thing--too bing and "clunky", and the screen protector is built in plastic pretty much. When I got a new phone I opted for a much slimmer case and a glass screen proector. I will admit, it is much easier to use.

My blackberry curve was the last phone I ever took real care of. Ever since then I treat them almost like disposables having a 12 month turn around on upgrades and the a good service plan.

I know we are past this, but when it comes to work and food this is my motto:

Your floors are cement and/or rocks? Sounds uncomfortable.

When I dropped mine they were usually falling from a higher place than most people? I had the 4 for 3 years and was just clumsy as **** with it. I threw one on the ground once because my keys had scratched the camera lens and wanted a new one.

My camera lens got scratched on my 4. It cost 15 dollars to replace....

Watched a guy replacing an iphone glass at a coffee shop. Dude comes in with the little case of tools and is fooling around with with what looked like a phone glass and part of the guts of a phone. Pretty soon this gal comes, he swipes her card in a little port reader and and he starts working on her phone. Talked to him later and he was a freelance guy and uses public locales as his meet spot so people are comfy meeting someone they probably looked up on Craigslist or something. Kinda cool seeing the phone dismantled on the table on the shop patio. Guy knew what he was doing. To save time he had more than the glass preassembled and than exchanged that with each old phone and would use that to preassemble the next one and so forth.

******* THIS. HOLY ****. Everyone cares about the East and West Coast lunches but don't give two ****s about the central time zones

I mean.....you can cater to everyone all the time. My region stretches from Hawaii to Iowa/Minnesota/Missouri. That's a five hour difference. When we have calls, it's understood someone will have to bend. Sometimes I have to get on a call at 6am. Sometimes the central people have to get on a call at 7pm. It happens.

It's actually better for your lawn to mulch the leaves. They'll fertilize the grass and prevent weeds.

Being lazy pays dividends!

yeah, because of this

just spent 20 minutes throwing the kickball to myself. Hope it pays off. Though that really only helps for catching fouls. Can't really practice a relay from the pitcher without someone else.

I wish I could just be a fly on the wall around you every once in a while. Someone really needs to Truman Show you.
