but we all would have laughed. Except for some of the ladies because they don't appreciate our "sophisticated" type of humor.

See, that's the classic "Will Rev thumbs-up it?" post...part of me thinks she would read the part about the pope, and want to, but then see the poop joke and hesitate.

 You're awesome, BTW, Rev...not poking fun.
I'll like the pope, poop and poor references.

This is tangentially related to a topic being discussed here. I just came home from a high school volleyball game. Holy crap our high school has a good volleyball team.

I dawned on me this morning that the Beatles song that was out when I was 15 is about me but it took till today for me to realize it.

And, no, I am not talking about Nowhere Man.

My sister's team sucks. They spend about 45min or less working as a team during practice. They will go 0-10 in conference, getting swept each game.

I'm thinking one of the following:

Drive My Car
Happiness is a Warm Gun
I am the Walrus

or perhaps Paperback Writer.

If KC had posted this, it most certainly would have been "Leave My Kitten Alone".

Never been much of a beatles fan. By the time I was old enough to be interested in music, the Beatles were like Elvis...I couldn't get into them, so they became kind of annoying to me from listening to people rave about how good they used to be. Not that I fault anyone else for liking them, I just wasn't part of that era, so it's odd to me.

Box/KC: You could get back in touch with your hippie roots in 2017....looks like VW is planning to re-introduce the microbus:

http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/m...crobus-campers-return-be-officially-confirmed

Although, they've been teasing this for years, but this one is supposed to be a "very close to production" concept.

Also interesting, there might be an all-electric model with 250 mile range.

Been there, done the micro bus roadtrips.

As a kind-of car guy...the electric cars kind of intrigue me. I love the concept of instant-on torque, but the mileage range and time to charge up makes me hesitant. Think of gasoline...you can go over 300 miles, then 'recharge' at a bazillion places in 10 minutes. I could see myself buying one for a daily driver to work and back, but I think I'd have to have one petrol vehicle until they overcome that hurdle.

kickball report!

I had another catch!
I had some good outs at first (not catches, but got the ball and stopped them)
I scored once!
DH had a massive kick with 2 outs that got both people on base home and put us up by 3 - talk about performing under pressure!
Another inning DH was between the pitcher and third, threw to me at first, and hit the runner instead. It was impressive, even the other team was like that was a damn good throw.
The other team had a giant ogre dickwad who came RIGHT up to the line every time a girl kicked (we still always gave the girls space). All of us girls majorly disliked him. He also had a very questionable out on one of our guys. Basically, way too serious guy, the rest of their team was pretty fun.
He came up on me and I kicked the other direction and got to first, suck it *****!
He had major kicks. He had a solo home run and a three run kick.
However, in the top of the 7th, with two outs and down three, he ******* launched it.

And our guy who had already caught him out once, did it again. Us girls were ecstatic. He was the white knight defeating the ogre, hahahahahahaha. It was just glorious that catching him out ended the game. So we didn't even play bottom of the 7th then.

These kickball play-by-plays are epic, but I can't decide if I should be hearing them in Morgan Freeman's voice or James Earl Jones...

I, for one, would like to welcome back our pants overlord. This place gets dead at night.

My online class professor has not been very good with communication. As in, basically no communication. I just kind of make it up as I go and turn what I have in. We'll see how it turns out...
