Speaking of the campus area...mrs hates when I tell this story, but we were passing thru that area trying to get to Town Hall Brewing while they were rebuilding 35W bridge. Of course, everything was 10X harder because of that. We're turning around for what seemed like the 17th time, and Mrs asks why it's so bad. I say "well, because of the 35W bridge construction", keeping it short because I'm driving and I figured it'd be obvious by saying 35W. She says "Sheesh, what do they have the whole bridge closed?", and I'm like "Hon, it FELL DOWN!"

Speaking of stories she hates me telling, she also hates me telling of the time we were at the Hardees drivethru and she ordered a roast beef sandwich. At the window, the guy asks me (driving) if we want any sauces with it. I ask her, and she replies that she wants Arby sauce. I re-iterate the question, thinking she's being a smartarse, and I ain't got time for it at the drive thru. She repeats it, and I'm like "Really?", she's all "what?", and I'm all "you want Arby sauce, at Hardees?!!?" and she's all "Oh, I never thought of that"

My U of M story:
When I was in college a few of my buddies and I drove up to see some friends at the U (hate calling it that btw) since ISU had an off week. We were looking for an ATM to grab cash for parking near the metrodome and I went into what I though was a restaurant to ask for directions to the nearest one. The lady that I though was the hostess told me that they had one (which I thought was odd) but the fee was really high, like 8 or 9 dollars. She said I should try the bookstore around the corner, so I walked out and around the corner. First thing I noticed at the bookstore was the giant XXXs painted on the windows and thought nope, so I turned around and decided the high ATM fee would just have to do. I walk back into the restaurant and the "hostess" asks me if the bookstore was closed. I replied that it was an adult bookstore and I would rather not go into it. She looked at me deadpanned and says, "well this is a strip club." I think I was redder than the reply to thread button.

^^^^spoken like someone who has had to explain a strip club ATM transaction to their wife before.
I may be mistaken but I believe that this club of which you speak may be across the street from my office.
Haha sounds like a bachelor party I went to. A couple of my buddies withdrew so much that they hit their limit. It was about damn time we go anyway. We are pretty sure one of the dancers drugged one of my friends.

Only U of M story I have is in the late 80's early 90's went to Williams arena for MBB against ISU. Was seated behind one of the posts in the lower level. Got cheering to much and a Minnesota lady told me to be quiet. That did not happen. ISU won when Minn. inbounded the ball hit the scoreboard hanging at center court and we grabbed ball as it landed at center court.
